Thanks to all who turned out for my presentation on "Your Personal Stress Profile"!

Your energy and participation really enhanced the information I shared.

The feedback I received was overwhelmingly positive, with many comments that understanding your Stress Personality and having practical, customized Stress Busters was valuable and empowering information.

Getting Started

The decision to start therapy is often the first step on an exciting (and sometimes temporarily painful) journey. Selecting a therapist is not the same as picking a mechanic to fix your car or hiring someone to check your teeth for cavities.

Competence is an important factor, of course, but studies show that the relationship between therapist and client is the number one factor in the client's success. Here's some information for you to get a sense of the fit between me and what you're looking for.

I offer a 20-minute free consultation, either by phone or in my office, to answer your questions and help you decide about getting started.

...and read a bit about my background, training, experience, and how I work as a therapist.

FAQ

I answer some common questions about counseling and my practice on the page I like to call Everything You Want to Know About Therapy But Don't Know Where to Find Out. Especially helpful in case you haven't experienced counseling before, or experienced bad counseling.

Fees

Nobody buys something without first knowing the price. It can be a challenge to muster the resources to take care of your mental well-being. Most people report that it's a worthwhile effort. After all, you'll carry it with you through your entire life.

Client Forms

Once we've decided to work together and made an appointment, I'll explain how to download the forms we need at our first meeting. Completing them ahead of time lets us use the full session for starting to map out our work together.

Contact & Location

All the basics for finding or getting in touch with me: availability, maps, directions, and even a picture of my comfortable office.

Some openings within the next few days.
